Job Description:
Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical &Metallurgical Assistant, Senior Section Engineer, Chief Depot Material Superintendent.
Applications complete in all respects should be submitted only ONLINE to the Railway Recruitment Board till 23.59 hrs of closing date.
Candidates to Ensure Their Elibilty Before Applying:
1. The candidates applying for the post(s) of JE Group - Grade pay Rs 4200/- (Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical &Metallurgical Assistant) and SSE Group - Grade pay Rs 4600/- (Senior Section Engineer, Chief Depot Material Superintendent), should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post/examination.
2. Admission of the candidates for the written examination(s) for the posts notified in this notification would be on the basis of the information furnished by them in the ONLINE application.
3. If at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in his application is false /incorrect or the candidate has suppressed any relevant information or the candidate otherwise does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post(s), his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith.
Examination Fee:
1. No examination fee for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen / Women/ Minorities/ Persons with Disabilities/Economically backward classes (refer to Para 4).
2. For UR/OBC male candidates not coming within the purview of exempted categories, as above, examination fee is Rs.100/-.
How To Apply:
1. Candidates are required to apply ONLINE to any one RRB ONLY, separately for SSE and/or JE group, depending upon their eligibility, on the website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) as indicated in Para 15.
2. Detailed instructions for filling up ONLINE applications are available on the website of RRB(s).
3. Brief Instructions to fill up the same are given in Para Nos. 5 and 5 (A) of this notification.
4. Application to more than one RRB for the same group will lead to rejection of all the applications for that group.
Last Date for Rreceipt of Applications: 
1. The ONLINE application, complete in all respects, can be submitted to RRB concerned upto 19.10.2014 till 23.59 Hrs.
2. No physical copy of application is required to be sent to RRBs General Instructions:
1. Written examination for JE Group - Grade pay Rs 4200/- (Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical &Metallurgical Assistant)will be held on 14.12.2014 and for SSE Group - Grade pay Rs 4600/- (Senior Section Engineer, Chief Depot Material Superintendent,) on 21.12.2014 (on the same day by all Participating RRBs).
2. As the examination is to be held by all RRBs simultaneously, candidates can submit ONLINE application to any one RRB only, for each group. 1.02
Eligibilty Criteria:
1. Age Limit:
The lower and upper age limit indicated for a particular post(s) in the vacancy table will be reckoned as on 01.01.2015. The upper age limit is relaxable as under, subject to submission of requisite certificates:
1.01 By 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
1.02 By 3 years for OBC candidates.
1.03 No age relaxation is allowed to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.
1.04 For Ex-Servicemen, up to the extent of service rendered in Defence, plus 3 years, provided they have put in more than 6 months service after attestation.
1.05 By 5 years for candidates who have ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.
1.06 By 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) (13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST) 2.07 Upper age limit in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from husband but not remarried shall be 35 years for Unreserved, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST candidates.
