1. Add value to functionality by active participation in test reviews, product reviews.
2. Find out technical unknowns and get them resolved.
3. Prepare test plans, test specifications documents.
4. Estimate effort for product features and help define release plan.
5. Create tasks and assign them to a team.
6. Provide technical assistance to the team and review their work.
7. Test a deliverables for product thoroughly.
8. Ensure that processes are being followed thoroughly.
9. Monitor progress of testing activities of assigned products and quality of products.
10. Adherence to Quality processes and deadlines.
