Job Description:
1. Design, develop, and debug the storage filesystem.
2. Build and assemble prototypes as required with assistance from senior engineers.
3. Deliver high-quality products that are extensible and scalable within the specified timeline.
4. Participate in and contribute to code reviews.
5. Identify product requirements and potential improvements.
6. Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
7. Debug and resolve any field issues.
8. Document code consistently throughout the development process.
9. Review, to the extent possible, changes in code and the environment that will affect system performance.
Candidate Profile:
Required skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical degree with relevant experience is preferred.
2. Extensive working knowledge of C, C++, and Makefiles.
3. Excellent data structures and algorithm skills.
4. Skilled in working with operating systems and UNIX internals.
5. Knowledge of free and open source software development concept and methodology.
6. Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high quality of work.
7. Great interpersonal skills, including an ability to interact with customers when required.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
