Job Description:
1. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
2. As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
3. Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes.
4. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
Desired Profile :
1. BS/MS/PhD in computer science or other relevant technical degree.
2. Experience in application development using Java/J2EE technologies.
3. Demonstrate analytic and problem-solving skills, particularly as it relates to application design, development and infrastructure.
4. Excellent object oriented programming, unit testing, debugging and code organization skills.
5. Extensive experience with Spring or other web frameworks, Hibernate or other ORMs, JMS, Test NG, relational databases and SQL.
6. Experience designing/implementing high performance Web services using SOAP/REST.
7. Ability to quickly learn and develop expertise in highly complex existing applications and architectures.
8. Experience with high volume distributed application development in a SaaS environment.
